Job description

This is a hands-on, pure development role focused on building and integrating data solutions in Informatica IDMC. The team is looking for someone who can design, develop, and deliver independently across the full SDLC, with a strong emphasis on real-time integrations over batch processing. Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data warehouse solutions
  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC (CDI, CAI)
  • Build real-time / near real-time integrations across multiple systems
  • Integrate data across varied tech stacks and formats (JSON, XML, etc.)
  • Support data modeling (dimensional, star/snowflake)
  • Optimize SQL queries and performance
  • Contribute across the full SDLC: design development deployment
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency

Requirements

  • CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
  • CAI (Cloud Application Integration)
  • Advanced SQL
  • AWS experience
  • Real-time integration experience (not just batch)
  • Strong ETL design and development background
  • Experience working with:

  • JSON, XML, and varied file formats
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have

  • Informatica certifications
  • Retail or supply chain domain experience
  • Shell scripting
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud migrations
  • Exposure to data governance / metadata / lineage

Project Environment

  • Supporting PSDL project + existing systems
  • Recently migrated to cloud (Informatica Cloud / IDMC)
  • Currently working through on-prem decommissioning
  • Heavy focus on:

  • Real-time integrations
  • Cross-platform system integration (horizontal team)
  • Existing batch processes still exist, but integration work is priority, * Pure developer mindset (NOT looking for managers or architects)
  • Strong in integration-first thinking, not just ETL pipelines
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, globally distributed teams
  • Flexible and adaptable across changing requirements
  • Proven ability to own delivery end-to-end

Interview Process * Round 1 (30 min) Technical panel

  • Given a requirement expected to walk through solution design
  • Round 2 Technical deep-dive

  • Focus on past projects (PSDL + integrations)
  • Deep discussion on design, architecture, and implementation

Key Differentiators Candidates will stand out if they have:

  • Strong real-time integration experience (IDMC CAI)
  • Experience handling dynamic file ingestion (JSON/XML automation)
  • Informatica certifications
  • Supply chain / retail exposure
