Job description
Insight global is looking for a TDL analyst. This role is responsible for providing operational, maintenance, and technical support for Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems, associated hardware, software, networks, and communications equipment. The individual will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and administer TDL-related systems while ensuring compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA), Information Technology (IT), and cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining Microsoft and UNIX/Linux environments, implementing system upgrades and security patches, monitoring network performance, documenting maintenance activities in IEMS, and supporting end users through technical assistance and training. The position also supports CMS duties, network modernization efforts, and cybersecurity initiatives while performing organizational-, intermediate-, and depot-level maintenance on TDL systems. Additionally, the role provides technical guidance to junior personnel, maintains proficiency on multiple TCTS platforms, and collaborates closely with Government stakeholders to ensure mission readiness and operational success.
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree and 5 years of related experience; OR -Masterâs degree and 3 years of related experience; OR PhD/JD in a related field; OR -High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
-Experience with computer systems maintenance, networking, TCP/IP communications, databases, and Microsoft/UNIX/Linux administration. -Knowledge of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems and DoD cybersecurity requirements. -Formal TDL and/or networking training equivalent to Navy âCâ School or vocational training. -Ability to complete JT-101 and JT-102 training within nine months of hire. -Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
-JT-101, JT-102, JT-201, and JT-301 certifications. -Experience with JTIDS/MIDS systems. -MIL-STD-6040 message writing training. -Experience supporting Navy, Joint, or DoD tactical communications environments.
