Job description
- Develop and tailor qualification procedures to align with military standards and mission profiles.
- Design instrumentation setups and test fixtures for accurate, repeatable results.
- Execute qualification testing (vibration, EMI/EMC, environmental, etc.) in certified facilities.
- Collect, analyze, and report test data; provide actionable recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis during test events.
- Write, review, and update technical documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and test infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of test engineering or related experience.
- Knowledge of test methods such as environmental, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, and human factors; ideal candidate will have experience in a remote test environment.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate with customers.
- Proficiency in data analysis, technical writing, and documentation tools (Microsoft Office, Acrobat).
- Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 15%) for test events at partner or government facilities; this includes infrequent longer tests lasting up to 2-3 weeks
- Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Person status required).
