Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Azure Databricks Platform Architect with strong hands-on experience leading Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations and Databricks platform separations., * 8+ years in cloud data platform architecture / enterprise platform operations.
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure Databricks architecture, administration, and operations.
- Proven experience with Azure Databricks tenant-to-tenant migration, platform separation, cloud carve-outs, or divestitures.
- Strong Unity Catalog and Databricks governance experience.
- Strong Azure networking/security: VNet, Private Link, NSG, Key Vault, Entra ID, Managed Identity.
- Strong Terraform / IaC and CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with production cutover, rollback, validation, and hypercare.
- Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder communication.
Preferred: M&A/divestiture experience, Databricks certifications, Asset Bundles, Lakehouse Federation, Delta Lake.
Important: This is a Databricks Platform Architect role. We are specifically looking for candidates with tenant-to-tenant migration / platform separation experience.
