Job description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PLM Functional Consultant to support a high-tech manufacturing client in the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize business processes, and configure Oracle Fusion PLM to meet organizational needs.
This role requires a trusted advisor who can recommend best-practice solutions and clearly articulate the trade-offs between Oracle native functionality, configuration, and custom development to ensure scalable, maintainable outcomes., * Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder workshops and process reviews.
- Configure Oracle Fusion PLM to support product development, item management, change management, product governance, and related business processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams to design effective solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on industry best practices and Oracle Fusion PLM capabilities.
- Evaluate solution alternatives and provide recommendations regarding standard functionality, extensions, integrations, and customizations.
- Clearly communicate trade-offs related to cost, implementation effort, maintainability, upgradeability, and business value.
- Support testing, deployment, user adoption, and post-go-live activities.
- Create functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on integrations and enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Oracle PLM consulting experience, including Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM.
- Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion PLM applications.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, engineering change processes, item management, and new product introduction (NPI).
- Experience supporting high-tech manufacturing organizations.
- Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to drive transformational change in a ‘remote first’ enterprise project.
- Ability to work effectively with Systems Integrators.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud.
- Experience integrating PLM with ERP, CAD, MES, or Quality Management solutions.
- Oracle Cloud PLM or SCM certifications., * A proactive consultant who combines deep Oracle Fusion PLM expertise with strong business acumen, enabling them to guide stakeholders toward practical solutions while balancing business requirements with long-term system sustainability and supportability.
