Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer and Connected Car System Administrator to join our innovative automotive technology team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing connected vehicle systems that leverage Java-based applications and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration, robust system performance, and secure data management within our connected car ecosystem. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive connectivity, contributing to safer, smarter, and more efficient transportation solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain Java applications tailored for connected car systems, ensuring high performance and scalability

  • Manage system administration tasks related to connected vehicle platforms, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web services and APIs such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other web technologies
  • Implement microservices architecture using Java frameworks like Spring Boot and React Express to enhance system modularity
  • Develop user interfaces utilizing UI/UX best practices with HTML, CSS, Angular, React, and Bootstrap for dashboard and control panels
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability across diverse environments including Linux and Windows servers
  • Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, TFS for code management throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Optimize database interactions with SQL (T-SQL), PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Apply Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Ensure system security by implementing best practices in cloud environments like AWS or Azure

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Java development with a focus on connected vehicle or IoT systems
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and integration; familiarity with SOAP-based web services
  • Proficiency in database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Solid understanding of software development principles such as OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), UML modeling, and SDLC processes
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture using Spring Boot or Node.js frameworks
  • Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub or Git; experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues through debugging tools within Visual Studio or Eclipse environments
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Prior exposure to WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), IIS (Internet Information Services), or application server management is advantageous
