Job description

Maintain Surveillance physical servers, software, networking hardware, cabling, and cameras for all Mesquite Gaming properties., 1. Install, configure, and maintain all Surveillance related server hardware and software.

  1. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves camera and/or other equipment issues.
  2. Installs and adjusts surveillance cameras and/or camera angles for optimum coverage.
  3. Ensure backup and recoverability of Network Switch operations.
  4. Helps with installing conduit, raceways, and fire wall protection.
  5. Work on cameras in the ceilings, on the roof and outdoor poles at heights up to 50 feet in the air.
  6. Responds to, identifies, and resolves system issues reported by surveillance operators and management.
  7. Prepares and maintains a variety of departmental reports, records, and documentation.
  8. Tracks and maintains departmental surveillance equipment/camera inventory.
  9. Performs and/or participates in special maintenance projects as assigned.
  10. Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Proactively identify problems and develop resolutions for Network, Security and Compliance Operations.
  • Develop recommended next steps to achieve greater efficiencies in all Surveillance related systems.
  • Foster positive interactions and trust with internal customers.

Requirements

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: State of Nevada Gaming Permit, Valid Driver’s License, and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old)., Quantitative experience or Surveillance IT industry certification. Minimum 2 years experience in the gaming industry. Minimum 2 years experience in working with server hardware, network switches and cabling. Experience with Network layout and logic a must. Must be proficient with analog and IP cameras, multicast routing, and gaming internal standards as it pertains to surveillance operations. Strong troubleshooting skills a must.
