Requirements

performance engineering performance tuning troubleshooting skills sdlc product engineering microsoft azure cloud problem - solving analytical skills Linux / UNIX, * Currently working within an enterprise-level storage environment

  • Experienced in Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products and/or in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products
  • Experienced in Brocade G series fabric switch products
  • Capability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle type documentation as part of the product evaluation and certification process
  • Competent in Windows, Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, I/O and network stack tuning and performance profiling
  • An understanding how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable components
  • Familiar with DevOps tools and version control systems (SVN, GitLab)
  • Familiar with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, * Experience with engineering and operating a hybrid cloud delivery model with focus on data coherency between on-prem and off-prem components.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices.
  • Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
  • Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX)
  • Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain).
  • Familiarity with Elastic Search and Kibana
