Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Daily punctual commute to the service center is required.
Join our growing Deployment Team as a Warehouse Operations Lead. Oversee and direct daily warehouse activities, device white glove services, meet tight project deadlines, and leads warehouse and temporary staff. The role navigates between warehouse associates and management and is required to always be in the facility during established working hours.
You will serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues, ensure operational excellence, support internal and external customers, and continuously improve deployment processes.
This role blends technical expertise with leadership and operational ownership.
Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership * Lead warehouse associates and temp workers, forklift operators, material handlers. * Assign daily work tasks and priorities. * Train new employees on procedures and safety requirements. * Coach team members and address performance issues. * Monitor attendance and staffing levels.

Inventory Management * Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. * Perform config counts and inventory audits. * Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. * Maintain proper stock counts, stock organization and location accuracy.

Operational Efficiency * Monitor and adjust workflow to meet productivity and service goals. * Identify process improvements to increase efficiency. * Coordinate labor resources based on workload demands. * Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Quality, Safety and Compliance * Ensures accurate completion of white glove services and enrollments. * Proper completion of device configuration files. * Review, maintain, and improve technical configuration processes and documentation * Partner with management to drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives * Enforce quality and safety standards. * Conduct quality and safety inspections and training. * Report and assist with incident investigations. Implement corrective actions. * Ensure proper operation of warehouse equipment.

Shipping and Receiving Oversight * Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. * Facilitate outbound shipments as instructed. * Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and matches intended purpose. * Manage loading and unloading activities, verifying documentation is signed.

Equipment and Facility Management * Monitor forklifts, pallet jacks, etching machines, and other equipment. * Perform and report on maintenance needs to management. * Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Reporting and Communication * Report on daily progress of device configurations and project schedule. * Provide performance input for warehouse associates. * Communicate operational issues to warehouse managers. * Participate in meetings and provide status updates when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree in IT is a plus, but not required.
- Warehouse experience.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
- Inventory control.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excellent.
- Forklift certified or able to become certified.
- Experience with laptop and PC configuration and deployment is a plus.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
This position is located on the warehouse floor and requires standing for long periods of time throughout the shift. Working hours will periodically increase to include working over 8 hours a day and on Saturdays depending on schedule requirements. Additional time, when scheduled, is required as part of fulfilling this role., * Must have working knowledge of computer parts, accessories, and end user proficiency.
