Job description
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support revenue operations and billing systems in a complex, high-volume transaction processing environment. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements, drive system enhancements, lead testing activities, support revenue transformation initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions across global revenue management platforms., * Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop clear, comprehensive business requirements and user stories that support revenue system enhancements and solutions.
- Lead multiple system implementation and enhancement projects simultaneously while ensuring project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system validation, and quality assurance activities for global revenue systems, including both legacy platforms and commercial off-the-shelf applications.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and process reviews to support revenue system improvements and future billing transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate recommendations clearly to all levels of management.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of revenue management systems, processes, and related business operations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, automate, and improve operational and reporting processes.
- Work independently within a fast-paced and evolving environment to deliver solutions and meet project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and SOX requirements while identifying and implementing process control improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on revenue system functionality, testing methodologies, and system capabilities.
- Support new product launches and revenue-generating initiatives by providing guidance on system impacts and requirements.
- Synthesize complex data and process findings into actionable recommendations and business impact assessments for leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, revenue operations, billing systems, or related functions.
- Strong understanding of revenue operations processes, including:
- Pricing
- Invoicing
- Revenue reporting
- Master data management
- Billing operations
- Experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) or Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) strongly preferred.
- Experience with enterprise revenue management platforms such as Oracle BRM, SAP, Amdocs, or similar systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and data validation skills with hands-on experience in:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Test planning and execution
- Defect management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Experience collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to clarify requirements and design solutions.
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking, testing management, and Agile project execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business processes and systems.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Experience with transaction-based billing environments and payment processing operations.
- Familiarity with Jira Align for strategic planning and execution management.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or acquired entity integration initiatives.
- Knowledge of financial system implementations and finance transformation programs.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive initiatives without direct authority.
- Light project management or project coordination experience.
- Portuguese and/or Spanish language proficiency.
