Job description
- Responsible for aligning technology solutions with business objectives to deliver scalable and efficient enterprise systems.
- Act as subject matter expert in one or more IT domains (e.g., finance, HR, safety, procurement, data, integration, business applications), as well as in core technologies including security, systems monitoring/management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Support application implementation and deployment efforts by providing accurate project estimations and ensuring proposed solutions do not duplicate existing functionalities.
- Maintain optimal system performance within the assigned IT domain by serving as the escalation point for critical issues and by coordinating resolution efforts across internal teams and external vendors.
- Advise project and rollout teams on best practices related to system integration and architecture.
- Lead and execute architectural upgrades, changes, and system migrations within assigned IT domain. Identify opportunities for system optimization by evaluating business requirements and aligning them with technological capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to conceptualize innovative IT solutions, build strategic partnerships, and deliver compelling value propositions.
- Work closely with vendors to develop and customize product offerings to meet specific organizational needs. Conduct proactive research on SaaS solutions and provide strategic recommendations for implementation.
- Stay current on emerging product features and enhancements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT roadmaps.
- Provide operational support and triage assistance as needed to ensure system reliability and continuity.
- Enforce strong governance and compliance measures through regular reviews of policies, processes, and procedures related to the systems under assigned purview.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required.
- Five years of experience in solution architecting, including any experience with: architecture design and deployment; systems lifecycle management; the full project lifecycle
- Architecting, designing, and implementing integrations among key enterprise systems; infrastructure planning and operations; automation frameworks; system upgrades
- Leading technical teams
- Oracle E-Business Suite modules; Oracle Project Accounting modules; Oracle AIM documentation; third-party platforms (e.g., Jaggaer, Basware, GetPaid, Bill Trust); and with functional requirement analysis, process mapping, end-user training, test script creation, and user documentation.
- Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
