Senior Information Systems Security Engineer

System Security Design & Architecture: Applied expertise in designing, building, and deploying IA components in networking, computing, and multi-enclave environments. Risk Management Framework (RMF): Practical experience navigating and executing security authorization activities under the DoD RMF, NIST RMF, and NISCAP guidelines. Vulnerability & Assessment Expertise: Hands-on experience conducting technical security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation strategies. Life Cycle System Security Engineering: Proven knowledge of security engineering principles across the software/system lifecycle, including configuration control, change management, incident handling, and auditing. Core IA Principles: In-depth understanding of confidentiality, integrity, availability, non-repudiation, access control, identification, authentication, and authorization. Cross-Domain & Cryptography Knowledge: Familiarity with cross-domain solutions, commercial (COTS) and government (GOTS) cryptography, and intrusion detection systems.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 15+ years of professional software development experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 19+ years of hands-on technical software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
