Job description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer / Data Architect to join our dynamic team in Claims Technology. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, data modeling and architecture, and high-performance ETL frameworks and a proven ability to optimize E2E ETL processes and real-time operational services, establish metadata catalogs, and deliver scalable data solutions., * Review and optimize end-to-end ETL processes and real-time operational services with advanced performance tuning.
- Analyze complex data across systems and multiple claims products to connect data relationships and resolve issues.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouse environments.
- Establish and maintain a metadata catalog for data management across products.
- Create documentation, partner with solution teams, and contribute to application and code design.
- Improve data flow and data quality processes to enhance accuracy, viability, and value.
- Engage business analysts and development teams to drive alignment and influence outcomes.
- Balance concurrent complex projects while maintaining architectural standards.
Requirements
- Primary: Oracle SQL/PLSQL with proven performance tuning expertise.
- Secondary: Data modeling and architecture for warehouse environments.
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data governance, and data warehousing with large-scale datasets, preferably in financial services.
- Experience in reverse engineering and documenting data flow and asset diagrams.
- Hands-on in building high-performance ETL data frameworks with error handling and scalability.
- Strong experience with partitions, indexes, CDC, purging, and data virtualization.
- Unix and Python scripting experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to drive groups toward common goals.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Exposure to Python, Hadoop, and Gen AI/ML.
- Financial services or banking industry experience.
Benefits & conditions
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Addison, TX.
- Start month targeted for September.
- Interview process includes 1-2 rounds. Video is required. In-person interview required. Glider ID verification will be conducted.
