Job description

As a Node.js / .NET Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting modern full-stack applications that deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality digital solutions. You will be a valued member of the Engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions in an Agile environment., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, .NET technologies, React, SQL-based databases, and cloud-native services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and database integrations while ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to frontend development efforts using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for React.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience developing full-stack applications using .NET technologies and SQL-based databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js development.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies, preferably React.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms with exposure to AWS services such as Lambda and EKS.
  • Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with data formats and markup languages including JSON, XML, and HTML.

These Will Help You Stand Out

  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Generative AI-powered development tools.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Camunda.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
  • Experience working within highly regulated or compliance-focused environments.
  • Strong execution skills with a proven ability to independently drive deliverables from concept through implementation.

Benefits & conditions

The annual salary for this position is between 129,500 - 152,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms., * Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance
