Lead Managed Services Engineer II (Technical Lead)

Are you a technology professional with experience building and supporting scalable applications and backend services? Deloitte is seeking a Technical Lead to help drive the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, application programming interfaces, and cloud-based solutions using Node.js and related technologies. You will also help strengthen engineering delivery through architecture oversight, code quality practices, and continuous improvement across tools, frameworks, and cloud capabilities., As a Lead Managed Services Engineer II (Technical Lead) on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and backend services using Node.js and supporting technologies
• Develop and support front-end and back-end components to meet business, user, and technical requirements
• Oversee application programming interface development, system integrations, and cloud-based deployments across the delivery lifecycle
• Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and issue resolution to support application performance and code quality
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders on architecture, delivery planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ability to lead projects or workstreams

• Ability to provide clear guidance to others, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 9+ years of experience developing applications using Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience designing and integrating REST application programming interfaces and microservices
• 3+ years of experience deploying and supporting applications in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

• Experience leading application development workstreams or small engineering teams
• Experience supporting managed services or application support environments
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
