Job description
The Associate Implementation Engineer is responsible for post-sales work with the company’s customers and business partners within US in the execution of software implementations. This role implements customer projects and applies technical skills to directly contribute to the company’s product implementations., * Provide technical environment assessment and a detailed solution output for team members to execute on.
- Work on customer implementation based on execution of assigned project tasks including installing Imprivata products, testing, and managing the project through end user deployment.
- Contribute to the creation & maintenance of project and process related ‘best practice’ methodologies, training and documentation.
- Understand how Imprivata integrate with various technologies (Citrix, VDI, Azure AD, etc).
- Assist with maintaining a repository of current Imprivata product solutions and offerings that will be used by the PMO to efficiently lead projects.
- Development of Technical Collateral, Field Workshops, and best practices development as defined by Technical Services Manager and Senior IE to drive standardization and repeatable processes.
- Assist with training to both customers and channel partners on Imprivata’s products.
- Extensive domestic travel - up to 75% - is a requirement of the position.
- Work closely with the Implementation Technical Services Manager to ensure technical aptitude amongst team members and continued personnel growth

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
- 3+ years demonstrated expertise implementing enterprise software packages or custom systems.
- 3+ years of experience with Windows administration and applications and ability to successfully troubleshoot independently.
- Working knowledge of Windows administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as:
- Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC, WS-Federation)
- Virtualization platforms (Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
- Mobile Device Management solutions (Workspace ONE/Omnissa, Jamf, Intune, Ivanti, SOTI)
- Relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to healthcare technologies is preferred, including EMRs (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH) and Imprivata solutions.
- Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript, VBScript, or AutoIT) is a plus.
- Understanding of client-server applications and foundational networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, firewalls, switches, and routers).
- Experience using CRM or case management tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in complex customer environments.
- Experience delivering customer training or technical consulting is a plus.

3.83.8 out of 5 stars United States Remote $65,500 - $81,000 a year - Full-time, This position offers a total compensation range of $65,500.00 - $81,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
