Job description

Manages Fusion software development activities for teams executing across multiple contracts. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, team capability development, oversee contract execution, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and complex mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle to include refinement of existing processes for improvement and efficiencies. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met. Coordinate with all other Fusion teams to ensure coordianted on-time delivery of content.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle of Software Engineering or Systems Engineering for software intensive projects

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding managing software and systems engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes, and practices

  • Recent formal leadership experience (within the last year)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

  • Agile certifications (e.g. Product Owner, Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.)

Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
