AI & Mobile App Technical Advisor/Consultant - Part Time (2-4hrs/week)

• Voice AI architecture (speech-to-text vs. speech-to-speech - OpenAI Realtime API vs. current Gemini pipeline)
• Microsoft Graph API / Outlook integration and OAuth approval process
• API key security and data protection for a consumer app (calendar events, user data)
• iOS + Android deployment best practices
• AI model selection across Claude, GPT, Gemini for different use cases
• Occasional 30-60 minute calls when we hit a wall - you’re the person we call before we go down the wrong path for 2 weeks

What You’ve Done

• Built or led engineering on a consumer-facing AI or mobile app that has active users
• Dealt with OAuth/permissions approval from Microsoft, Google, or Apple at the platform level
• Worked with voice AI APIs in production (bonus: OpenAI Realtime API, ElevenLabs, or similar)
• Senior IC or Staff Engineer level - you write code, you don’t just manage people who do, * Are you open to a part-time consulting role (2-4 hours/week)?
• Have you built or led engineering on a consumer-facing AI or mobile app in production?
• How many active users did the largest consumer app you worked on have?
• How many years of hands-on experience do you have working with voice AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI Realtime, ElevenLabs, Gemini)

We’re building an AI-powered smart calendar and a suite of internal AI tools across a growing DTC brand. We need a Senior Technical Advisor someone who has built and shipped consumer-facing AI-powered apps at scale not a consultant who talks theory.
