Job description
The Senior Analytics Engineer plays a critical role in executing the organization’s Data & Analytics strategy by designing, developing, and supporting modern reporting, analytics, and data solutions. This role is responsible for transforming business requirements into scalable, trusted analytics products using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, Infor Birst, and enterprise data platforms. This position combines strong business intelligence expertise, data modeling, analytics engineering, and stakeholder engagement skills. The role requires a passion for data and the ability to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions that improve decision-making across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
What You’ll Do:
Microsoft Fabric & Azure Analytics
- Develop and support analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, OneLake, Dataflows, and related services.
- Utilize Fabric capabilities to support scalable reporting, self-service analytics, and enterprise data integration.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of modern cloud-based analytics architectures.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and monitoring processes.
- Assist in evaluating new Microsoft analytics capabilities and recommending practical use cases.
Data Modeling & Data Engineering
- Design and maintain semantic models and dimensional data models that support scalable analytics solutions.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes that integrate data from Infor M3 and other enterprise applications.
- Create reusable datasets and governed reporting layers that enable self-service analytics.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through validation, testing, and reconciliation procedures.
- Document data lineage, transformation logic, business rules, and technical specifications.
ERP & Operational Analytics
- Support analytics initiatives related to Infor M3 and other enterprise platforms.
- Partner with functional teams to develop reporting solutions supporting:
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Manufacturing
- Procurement
- Sales
- Customer Service
- Develop solutions that improve operational visibility and business performance measurement.
AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement
- Support implementation of AI-enabled analytics capabilities including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and Copilot-enabled reporting experiences.
- Leverage Microsoft AI and Fabric capabilities to improve efficiency and insight generation.
- Assist in prototyping and validating advanced analytics use cases under established governance standards.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual reporting and data preparation activities.
Business Intelligence & Analytics Delivery
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytics solutions using Power BI and related technologies.
- Translate business requirements into effective visualization and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, metric definitions, and reusable reporting assets.
- Improve report performance, usability, and adoption through continuous enhancement and user feedback.
- Support migration and modernization initiatives from legacy reporting platforms to modern analytics solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Partner with business teams to identify opportunities for improved insights and business outcomes.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design sessions, testing, and user adoption activities.
- Promote analytics best practices and data literacy throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI including:
- DAX
- Data Modeling
- Power Query
- Semantic Models
- Report Optimization
- Security and Governance
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT solutions and supporting enterprise analytics environments.
- Experience working with ERP data and business processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with:
- Infor M3
- Infor Birst
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- SQL Server
- Synapse Analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power BI, Azure, Fabric, or Data Analytics certifications preferred.

Salary Range:
Starting Salary Range: $119,800-$144,400. The pay range listed represents the target hiring range for this position; however, the actual base pay offered to the best talent and fit for the posted role will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, relevant experience, geographical location and internal equity. Future compensation decisions for employees in this role will utilize the full pay range, not solely the typical hiring range.
Compensation is adjusted based on the candidate’s local labor market and may vary within this range., Employees at ACH Food Companies, Inc. enjoy a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support them throughout their employment. ACH offers a choice of two PPO medical plans with low deductibles and dental coverage. Vision and life insurance are provided at no charge.
