Job description

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand customer needs, business objectives, and pain points.
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, dependencies, and strategic priorities.
  • Create, refine, and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering and technology teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivery objectives are met.
  • Review and accept completed stories and make timely decisions regarding scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and Feature Leads throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and production readiness activities.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, issues, and opportunities and drive them to resolution.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technology stakeholders.
  • Develop product documentation, requirements, process flows, roadmaps, and status updates.
  • Track product performance, adoption, delivery metrics, and business outcomes.
  • Support continuous process improvement and identify opportunities for automation and technology modernization.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Present product strategy, roadmap, status, and delivery progress to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria., * 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Agile delivery.

  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features and requirements.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile/product management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with UAT, release planning, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and actionable development work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience., * Previous experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience working with Bank of America or other Tier-1 financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of financial services, risk, compliance, payments, lending, or banking technology.
  • Experience with APIs, data platforms, cloud technologies, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience with process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore technology teams.
  • Strong executive-level presentation and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Product Owner who can independently manage a product backlog, communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders, make prioritization decisions, and drive initiatives from requirements through production. Candidates with experience in large financial institutions and regulated environments are strongly preferred.
