Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Engineer to support and enhance our Digital Experience strategy through the administration, optimization, and expansion of the Nexthink platform. This role will be responsible for managing Nexthink configurations, developing automation and remediation workflows, analyzing digital experience metrics, and proactively improving endpoint performance and employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Nexthink engineering, advanced PowerShell automation, and endpoint observability. They will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to leverage telemetry data, drive operational improvements, reduce user friction, and deliver a seamless digital workplace experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and govern the Nexthink platform across the enterprise environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Nexthink capabilities, promoting platform adoption and best practices across IT teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Nexthink-based use cases supporting observability, compliance, automation, and digital experience initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Nexthink Remote Actions, Flows, campaigns, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Create advanced NQL queries, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights and operational visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze DEX Scores, endpoint health, device performance, application performance, and user experience trends.
  • Identify performance issues, root causes, and opportunities for proactive improvement through telemetry analysis.
  • Develop automated solutions using PowerShell scripting and REST API integrations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, service desk, endpoint management, security, and business teams to operationalize insights and improve service delivery.
  • Drive self-service capabilities and user guidance programs to improve employee productivity and reduce support volume.
  • Support onboarding and implementation of new Nexthink features and platform enhancements.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including DEX Score, endpoint compliance, user sentiment, device performance, and frustrated user metrics.
  • Provide technical documentation, process improvements, and platform governance recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Digital Employee Experience, Endpoint Management, or Digital Workplace technologies.
  • Hands-on experience administering and engineering solutions within the Nexthink platform.
  • Advanced experience developing Nexthink Remote Actions, automation workflows, campaigns, and NQL-based reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Nexthink’s Data Model and DEX Score methodology.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting experience for automation, diagnostics, and endpoint remediation.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, authentication methods, and system integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving Windows endpoint performance, application behavior, and device health.
  • Experience analyzing telemetry data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to identify root causes through observability platforms and endpoint analytics.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Nexthink Flow and enterprise workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and modern endpoint management solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and cloud-based workplace technologies.
  • Experience supporting Digital Employee Experience (DEX) programs and KPI reporting.
  • Understanding of endpoint compliance, observability platforms, and self-healing technologies.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards and operational reporting.
