Application Advisors play a critical role in helping our Sales teams bring Dayforce to life for prospective customers. Working at the intersection of technology, Product, and Sales, youâll help create reliable and compelling product demonstrations that support customer conversations and strategic sales opportunities. Youâll configure applications, prepare demo environments, solve technical challenges, and partner with Sales and Advisory teams to turn business requirements into solutions that showcase whatâs possible with Dayforce. Youâll also help maintain and evolve a gold-standard reusable demo platform, ensuring core environments, configurations, and demo assets remain consistent, scalable, and ready to support future opportunities. What Youâll Get to Do
- Partner with Sales and Advisory teams to bring customer scenarios to life through compelling, demo-ready solutions.
- Configure and shape application experiences that support strategic pursuits and meaningful customer conversations.
- Solve technical challenges across configuration, data, environments, and application functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, and other teams to resolve issues and keep high-visibility demonstrations moving.
- Apply strong technical judgment to balance speed, quality, and risk in a fast-moving sales environment.
- Maintain and enhance a gold-standard reusable demo platform, keeping environments, configurations, and demo assets reliable, scalable, and ready for reuse.
- Deepen your product and technical expertise while taking on increasingly complex and impactful work.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in application support, software configuration, implementation, consulting, technical support, or customer-facing technology.
- Strong application configuration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues across applications, data, configuration, or environments.
- Strong technical judgment with the ability to balance quality, risk, urgency, and business impact.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, Support, and other cross-functional teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality work.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and the ability to quickly learn complex applications, technologies, and business processes.
What Would Make You Stand Out
- Experience in sales engineering, presales, solution consulting, or supporting customer-facing technical demonstrations and strategic pursuits.
- Strong technical support or application support experience, including troubleshooting complex issues across configuration, data, environments, or integrations.
- Experience with enterprise software, particularly HCM, payroll, workforce management, or similarly complex platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL, reporting, APIs, integrations, or translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.
