Macbook & PC Lead Repair Technician

Furb (getfurb.com) refurbishes used business electronics for resale. Our Atlanta workshop processes mainly MacBooks, as well as Windows laptops, Chromebooks, and iPhones.

What You’ll Do

• Test and diagnose MacBooks and other devices.
• Identify hardware, battery, screen, keyboard, charging, and software issues.
• Perform repairs and replace parts, including more advanced and complex repairs.
• Install or restore operating systems.
• Grade devices and accurately record their condition.
• Keep devices, parts, tools, and workstations organized.
• Serve as the go-to for escalated or difficult repairs, and help guide other technicians on the team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys computers and electronics and has hands-on, proven repair experience.

• 2+ years of proven experience in Apple repair, as well as PCs or Chromebooks.
• Associate Degree in Electronics or Computer Repair Technology (or equivalent technical certification) is a plus, but not required - strong hands-on experience matters more.
• Comfortable with microsoldering is a plus.

You Should Be

• Comfortable diagnosing technical problems, including more complex or unusual issues.
• Careful, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Experienced with MacBook repair and refurbishment.
• Able to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving workshop.
• Comfortable working on PCs, Chromebooks, and iPhones when needed.
