Technical Lead - Vehicle Multimedia Systems

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Vehicle Multimedia Systems to support automotive multimedia development., * Lead automotive multimedia system development from planning through launch and release.

• Support Head Unit, Navigation, Voice Assistant, Media, SXM, Connected Audio, and related systems.
• Coordinate vehicle milestones and software release schedules.
• Manage suppliers, technical risks, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot complex multimedia issues involving specifications and system architecture.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, testing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders, including teams in Japan.

Candidates must have 3+ years of direct vehicle multimedia / infotainment development experience., * 3+ years of vehicle multimedia / infotainment development experience - MUST

• Strong knowledge of automotive multimedia hardware and software architecture - MUST
• Experience with Head Unit, Infotainment, Navigation, Connected Audio, or related automotive systems
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong technical problem-solving and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

• Japanese communication skills
• Experience working with Japanese automotive OEMs or suppliers
• Executive reporting experience

Please note: Direct automotive multimedia / infotainment development experience is required. General IT or software development experience alone will not qualify
