Job description
The SAP Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of SAP implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role works closely with Program Directors, Program Managers, Project Managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support project execution, maintain project documentation, track progress, and improve project coordination processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in supporting large-scale global ERP implementations. Description
- Coordinate project activities across SAP implementation teams and stakeholders.
- Track project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and action items, providing regular status updates to project leadership.
- Facilitate project meetings, including status reviews, risk discussions, and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, and project management tools.
- Support Project Managers and Program Managers with planning, reporting, and project execution activities.
- Track and manage project risks and issues following established governance processes.
- Ensure project documentation, including functional specifications, SOPs, meeting minutes, and deliverables, is complete, accurate, and properly stored.
- Monitor project timelines and help identify potential schedule or resource conflicts.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, business users, clients, and external vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO standards, project management methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience coordinating IT projects supporting global ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar).
- Experience supporting SAP implementation or rollout projects.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; PMP certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
