Full stack Java Developer

A leading data and analytics organization is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a team responsible for building and enhancing mission-critical financial technology. The Senior Developer will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful products while also providing technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers., As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will work across the application stack, with a strong emphasis on Java/Spring Boot backend development and modern frontend technologies. You’ll design and develop scalable microservices, contribute to cloud-based applications, and help deliver reliable solutions within a complex financial technology environment.

The team is looking for someone who can operate independently, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and help mentor less experienced developers., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Build and enhance microservices and RESTful APIs
• Develop modern frontend applications using Angular
• Work with React as needed; Angular experience is preferred
• Build and support cloud-based applications using AWS
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA, and other engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews and establish strong development practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
• Help ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable
• Work within an Agile development environment

• Strong professional experience with Java
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot
• Strong hands-on experience developing microservices
• Experience with Angular; React experience is also acceptable
• Experience working with AWS
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed application architecture
• Senior-level software engineering experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers
