Job description

Ghostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a recognized leader in Federal Government contracting, is seeking a TSCE/Network Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role supports U.S. Navy Ships or Submarines under the direction of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) and serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)., * Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following systems:

  • Total Shipboard Computing Enterprise (TSCE)
  • AN/USQ-185 Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange Systems (CENTRIXS)
  • Computer Network Defense Operating Systems (CND)

o Naval Information Application Product Suite (NIAPS)

o Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS)

o AN/UYQ-96 Host Based Security System (HBSS)

o Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems

o Cisco Network Switches

o LAN and WAN Switches

  • Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
  • Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, associated Navy “A” School.
  • 4+ years of related experience with shipboard TSCE systems and associated systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
  • Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling tools/equipment.
  • Regular verbal and auditory communication.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to board naval crafts, navigating passageways and steep ladders.
  • Comfortable working in shipboard and industrial environments.

Benefits & conditions

The hiring range for this position is: $32.00 - $48.00 based on experience
