Job description

  • Support software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Review business needs, requirements, and technical specifications
  • Respond to alerts, review error messages, and fix bugs in a timely manner
  • Research and prototype new technologies, including AI and machine learning approaches
  • Actively contribute to and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

As an Associate Software Engineer in our Oslo innovation team, you’ll help build the platform that powers performance partnerships for thousands of brands and publishers globally. You’ll work on backend services, data pipelines, and user-facing applications that process partnership and conversion data at scale, alongside more experienced engineers who will help you grow toward independent delivery. This role assumes that you have strong engineering fundamentals from your degree and the ability to learn quickly. You will build familiarity with our cloud services, libraries, and APIs, and take on problems of increasing scope and complexity over time. You will write clean, well-tested code and contribute to the quality of the codebase. You are motivated by solving interesting problems at scale, building solutions that have real impact, and applying new technologies including AI and machine learning to the problems we work on. You communicate effectively, including when you need help., * Completed or near-completion B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Informatics, Cybernetics, or related engineering field. Strong academic results, extracurricular activities, and military service are all viewed favourably

  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software design
  • Practical experience with at least one general-purpose programming language through coursework, thesis, internships, or substantial personal projects
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Interest in AI and machine learning, with some exposure through coursework, thesis topics, or projects
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery
  • Working proficiency in Norwegian and English
  • Exposure to Agile ways of working
