The Senior Director of Enterprise Data Partners (EDP) - Finance provides strategic and operational leadership for the development, governance, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics products supporting revenue cycle, finance strategy, and accounting across the Mount Sinai Health System.
Operating within a center-led, data product model, this role oversees multidisciplinary teams of data product managers, data analysts, and developers/data science analysts for delivering trusted data products including dashboards, reporting, predictive analytics, and self-service capabilities that improve financial performance and operational decision-making for the enterprise.
The Senior Director serves as the primary data and analytics partner to executive finance leadership, working collaboratively with business owners, data engineering, epic teams, digital and AI, and other DTP teams to ensure seamless product delivery and implementation. They are responsible for development of the data strategy, establishing product roadmaps, and ensuring the delivery of scalable data products in partnership with finance teams while promoting standardization, governance, Agile delivery, and measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Computer/Data Science, or a related field required.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MS in Data Science, PhD, MD with finance/analytics experience).
- Background or certification in healthcare quality, informatics, or data science is highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
- 15 years of progressive information systems management experience preferably in a health care field.
Other Experience Specific to Position:
- 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality reporting and data science, with at least 5 years in finance or revenue cycle analytics for an academic health system or teaching hospital.
- Demonstrated success managing teams in a multi-mission environment (clinical, operational, finance, academic).
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale analytics or data product organizations with accountability for domain strategy, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in healthcare analytics and decision support.
- Expertise in healthcare finance and related software, data, and tools.
- Familiarity with Epic or other EMRs, healthcare data warehousing, and academic research collaboration platforms.

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $183,854.00 - $289,990.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
