Job description

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, security, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical applications. This individual will work across Linux environments, cloud infrastructure, container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security monitoring tools to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and scalable., * Administration (i.e., configuration, installation, tool integration, etc..) of IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management suite of applications.

  • Administration of DevSecOps tools utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and other complementing technologies.
  • Support infrastructure maintenance associated with system hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Leverage Agile principles in daily work to ensure scope, priority and value is delivered to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to remediate environment issues impacting DevSecOps Tool uptime and availability.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and IBM Log/Event Management (LEM) solutions, along with a strong understanding of infrastructure automation and operational security., * Secret Clearance

  • Experience administering engineering tools in Linux environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Experience with IBM ELM Administration.
  • Understanding of networking, virtualization, and infrastructure operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security monitoring practices.
  • Experience supporting OpenStack cloud environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

Benefits & conditions

We can offer $75-$85/hr depending on experience, Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
