Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, deployment, administration, and optimization of large-scale enterprise infrastructure and platform environments. This individual will work across both software and hardware ecosystems, helping to build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure systems that support critical business applications and services., Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud-based environments. Administer and maintain Linux-based systems to ensure performance, security, and reliability. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Support CI/CD deployment pipelines with a focus on GitOps and automation tools such as ArgoCD. Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production issues utilizing tools such as Splunk. Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives and systems integration projects. Collaborate with application, network, security, and operations teams to support complex platform deployments. Evaluate existing infrastructure environments and recommend improvements to scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency. Assist with system upgrades, patching, configuration management, and platform maintenance activities. Develop documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards for supported environments. Support root cause analysis efforts and implement preventative measures to reduce recurring issues. Participate in testing activities, including system validation, integration testing, and deployment verification.

This role is 4 days a week onsite in between Greenwood Village and Parker, Colorado.

This role is offering 40-45/hr.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration experience, hands-on expertise with containerized environments, and a passion for troubleshooting complex technical issues. This role will partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to evaluate existing environments, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement reliable technology solutions., 2-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools, particularly ArgoCD. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues across infrastructure, applications, and container platforms. Experience using Splunk or similar monitoring and log analysis tools. Understanding of infrastructure architecture, systems integrations, and enterprise technology environments. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures. Exposure to networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and routing. Experience with integration testing and unit testing methodologies. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools). Experience supporting highly available, distributed systems in production environments.
