Job description

The Wadsworth Center’s Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP) process application needs continued support and a migration to a newer, ITS-supported framework. HBITS staff are sought to augment in-house resources. Work with analysts to understand user requirements. Create design documentation. Develop custom code utilizing Java. Test and debug Java code. Troubleshoot issues reported by users.

Requirements

    • 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field., * * 84 months experience developing web applications utilizing technologies such as Java, JSF, JSP and Servlets.
    • 12 months experience developing applications utilizing the Vaadin application development framework.
    • 84 months experience developing web-based applications to interact with an Oracle database.
    • 24 months experience developing applications utilizing Java Persistence API (JPA).
    • 24 months of experience supporting regulatory authority applications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Benefits & conditions

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly range is $54.00 - $58.00.
