Job description
A Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer with extensive experience writing efficient code in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors will join a Global Technology Company, delivering innovative electronic equipment to the broadcast industry., You’ll take designs from concept through to production - bringing strong C/C++ programming to write efficient code; will undertake hardware-software integration and system optimization as well as debugging and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Qualified to Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline, the successful Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer will bring several years’ industrial design experience which should include Low-Level experience with Linux, Bare Metal coding and good knowledge of communication protocols., * Degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Science or similar discipline. \n

Proficiency in C/C++ programming. \n

Linux Operating Systems and Drivers. \n

Bare Metal coding. \n

Writing code for Microcontrollers and processors to control hardware. \n

Good knowledge of communication protocols. \n

Low level experience with RTOS. \n

Previous experience related to Broadcast or Pro AV products would be highly beneficial as would knowledge of audio and video protocols.
