Operations Data Analyst

Support claims business operations by analyzing operational and performance data, identifying trends, forecasting outcomes, monitoring process performance, and providing actionable recommendations. Develop and maintain reporting that helps improve claims operations, business performance, and decision-making. Perform reporting and analytics in a read-only environment with no write access to production data.

• 3-5 years of Operations Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytics experience
• Experience working for an auto insurance carrier
• Auto insurance, claims analytics, or claims operations experience is required
• Experience identifying, establishing, monitoring, and reporting on key business metrics
• Business performance analysis and communication
• Experience identifying opportunities, resolving gaps, and improving business processes
• Strong data analysis and reporting experience
• Experience organizing, synthesizing, creating, and analyzing reports from multiple data sources
• Experience performing trend analysis and forecasting
• Experience using control limits and performance monitoring to identify operational issues
• Ability to identify trends and perform root cause analysis
• Experience developing and monitoring performance metrics, including leading and lagging indicators
• Hypothesis testing experience
• Experience creating reports and monitoring business performance
• Experience working with reporting and analytics in a read-only environment (no write access)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
