Job description

· Education begins at birth and continues throughout life, with parents as their children’s first teacher;

Ensure data and reports are available and meeting the needs of staff, students and programs. Support the development of universal information systems and increase long-term capacity to meet agency Information System needs.

Relationships with: Leadership Team, External Affairs Team, all Christopher House staff that input or manage data in Christopher House’s Student Information Systems (SIS), Chicago Benchmarking Collaborative partners Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Analysis

· Help ensure on time and accurate collection of data using organization’s databases, funder databases, and grants management software.

· Analyze data with staff to determine accuracy and completeness of data.

· Report data findings to supervisor; make recommendations for improving agency/department’s outcomes system.

· Ensure quality of outcomes, i.e. data should reflect a continuum of participants story.

Train and Staff Support

· Provide in-person, remote and hands-on support to Christopher House staff with software system(s).

· Function as a liaison between leadership and end-users.

· Maintain handbooks and training documentation to ensure staff have the knowledge to complete duties.

· Manage user accounts.

IS Planning, Design & Implementation

· Maintain CH’s Student Information Systems (SIS) and Performance Management Software for Education Programs and grants management software.

· Seek and/or obtain training for Salesforce CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics), Exponent Case Management (ECM) Software, Excel, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and FastBridge. CRM Analytics and Exponent Case Management (ECM) software are the primary tools used.

· Manages information systems design, testing and implementation for ECM software . Verifies data quality in information systems design, testing and implementation. Documents system(s) requirements and specifications.

· Supports, monitors, maintains and enhances existing information system(s). Proactively think of new ways to implement databases throughout the organization.

Design & Produce Compliance Reporting

· Assists in building system reports and data visuals in accordance with requirements and specifications to meet information needs of the organization including funder reports, outcome reports, staff reports (e.g. PIR).

Support Chicago Benchmarking Collaborative (CBC) Initiative

· Assist in supporting an innovative benchmarking initiative that tracks common outcomes across six non-profits and includes duties: onboarding new partners, building new features and cross-agency reports, supporting/training ECM administrators and the 40 hours per week position will support partners who do not have a dedicated Database Administrator with ECM Software management.

Community Relations

· Assist in agency fundraising, donor relations, special events and public relations activities in coordination with the

agency’s development office.

Financial

· Manage software related agreements, contracts and invoices for Christopher House and the Chicago Benchmarking Collaborative partners

· Assist the Director of Quality Assurance in developing and managing a software budget

Non-Classified Responsibilities

· Respond to agency and stakeholder needs by performing assigned tasks, which do not fall within the above description. If such tasks are not of a temporary nature, they should be added to the position’s designated responsibilities.

Requirements

· 3+ years of data administration experience. with medium to large sized organizations.

· Experience with Exponent Case Management (ECM) Software preferred.

· Experience supporting database users, gathering requirements, implementing new database features.

· Salesforce administration experience preferred.

· Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.

· Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse technology backgrounds.

· Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm with staff for utilizing software systems.

· Analytical skills to understand the organization and individual program data in order to maximize performance towards achieving outcomes.

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred., * Bachelor’s (Preferred), * Exponent Case Management (ECM) Software : 1 year (Preferred)
