The digital transformation of Fortune from a print magazine to a multi-channel media company is in full swing, and we want you to be a part of it. The Engineering team works on multiple digital properties at Fortune: from the editorial website, conferences, Fortune Recommends and others. Our goal is to launch new products to build on our core competencies of content, events and education, in order to diversify our revenue streams; and to improve the experience and monetization of existing properties.

Fortune Media is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer, someone who is a fast learner and eager to explore new technologies, to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital media. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Next.js, backend technologies, and Content Management Systems (CMS) to impact millions of readers worldwide.

  • Rapidly prototype new features by moving seamlessly from design tools like Figma Make to functional code.

Our goal is not just incremental improvement, but a step-change in productivity, allowing engineers to focus more on complex system design, business logic, and creative problem-solving. We expect you to be at the forefront of this AI-enabled coding revolution., At Fortune Media, our mission is to change the world by making business better. We achieve that by providing trusted information, great storytelling, rigorous benchmarking and world-class community building. And our key values are humility, ownership, and transparency.
