Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations Instructor

Tactical Forensics and Cyber Solutions, LLC (TFCS) is seeking experienced digital forensics, cybersecurity, and law-enforcement professionals to deliver structured, hands-on training for law-enforcement and other public-sector audiences. Assignments may include lectures, demonstrations, practical laboratories, case-based exercises, student assessments, and technical troubleshooting., · Evaluate student performance, maintain a well-managed learning environment, coordinate with TFCS personnel, complete required reporting, and protect sensitive information., Assignments are offered according to program needs, instructor approval, location, availability, and scheduling; their number and frequency are not guaranteed. Compensation, travel reimbursement, preparation expectations, and assignment-specific terms will be provided before each engagement., · Approximate length and frequency of instructional experience and the general types of audiences instructed

· Former, retired, or current law-enforcement background, or the nature and length of direct law-enforcement-support experience

· Digital forensics, cybersecurity, investigative, and technical subjects the applicant is qualified to teach

· Relevant forensic tools, technologies, professional certifications, and general availability

Selection Process

Selected candidates may be asked to participate in a technical interview, instructional demonstration, experience and certification verification, reference or background checks, and a course-qualification evaluation. Candidates may also be required to sign independent-contractor, confidentiality, nondisclosure, and conflict-of-interest agreements.

Applicants must have at least five years of professional experience in one of these categories:

· Former, retired, or current sworn law-enforcement service; or

· A technical, instructional, investigative, forensic, legal, intelligence, cybersecurity, or other role directly supporting law-enforcement missions, personnel, training, investigations, or forensic operations.

Instructional Areas

· Deliver approved digital forensics, cybersecurity, or cyber-investigation curriculum in classroom, laboratory, or authorized virtual settings.

· Explain complex technical concepts clearly to students with varied technical and investigative experience.

· Demonstrate accepted methods for preserving, acquiring, examining, analyzing, and documenting digital evidence.

· Guide practical exercises, troubleshoot common technical issues, and connect forensic artifacts to investigative questions., · At least five years of qualifying law-enforcement or direct law-enforcement-support experience.

· Demonstrated expertise in digital forensics, cyber investigations, incident response, cybersecurity, law-enforcement investigations, or a closely related field.

· Prior experience delivering formal instruction, technical training, professional presentations, or hands-on laboratories.

· Experience using relevant industry-standard forensic, investigative, or cybersecurity tools.

· Strong presentation, classroom-management, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills; ability to follow an established curriculum and collaborate with other instructors.

· Willingness to travel when required and handle sensitive information with sound professional judgment.

· Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Background

· Experience teaching public-sector audiences and conducting investigations, forensic examinations, peer review, report writing, or expert testimony

· Experience developing or reviewing technical curricula, instructor materials, practical exercises, or assessments

· Relevant forensic, cybersecurity, investigative, or instructional certifications; an active or recently held clearance when relevant
