Trade Control Analyst

This position is responsible for supporting the commercial team through monitoring and verification of trade deals and outstanding storage positions. Employees in this role manage the data integrity in the ETRM and assist mid and back-office staff with reconciliation of gas nominations and physical gas invoices.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Verifies and records natural gas storage positions and pipeline imbalances

· Verifies and records physical deals and/or contracts executed by traders and desk managers

· Manages data integrity of all physical gas deals and scheduling information held in the ETRM

· Serves as a primary point of contact for all questions related to deal and/or scheduling questions posed by Back Office team

· Assists with the reconciliation of transport invoices

· Acts as the subject matter expert on ETRM system for the commercial team

· Contributes to continuous improvement of trade execution processes via automation or other improvements

Spotlight Energy is seeking a front office trading analyst to assist traders and schedulers on the desk in a commercial role. It is an opportunity to learn advanced level commodities trading from the ground up. There will be substantial interface with the risk, credit, and back-office teams. The candidate should be highly organized and detail oriented. High level of Excel knowledge is also preferred. Specific knowledge of physical natural gas is beneficial but not required.
