Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Phantom Works Lead Systems Engineering Analyst (Level 4) to join the team in Berkeley, MO.

Boeing Phantom Works is building the next generation of combat aircraft and the required infrastructure to test and validate designs; we’re looking for an enthusiastic systems engineering analyst to join us on that journey. As part of this team you’ll be a member of a team a team comprised of multiple skill areas, develop statements of work (SOW), work with customers and management, manage changes to the SOW and conduct impact analysis, and provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of the program.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains
  • Maintain alignment within the program team and with our suppliers and customers; identify obstacles and work as a team to remove them.
  • Support the program in implementing MBSE as part of the broader digital engineering ecosystem
  • Support development and provide quality review for systems engineering deliverables in collaboration with other engineering teams.

Travel may be required for up to 10% of the time; domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.

This position requires an active U.S Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology or information systems.
  • 7 or more years’ related work experience
  • Prior Systems Engineering experience to include but not limited to system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation
  • 1+ Years Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML, * Experience developing and/or managing program baselines
  • Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA)
  • Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers
  • Experience in developing and maintaining digital ecosystems and information technology architectures.
  • Decomposition of Government or customer standards, development of certification or integrity plans, execution of verification/certification programs
  • Development of deliverables requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Team leadership experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $122,400 - $165,600
