Job description

The Senior Engineer role is to design, develop, and enable enterprise integration solutions that connect applications, platforms, and services across the organization. This role will have strong Java and API development expertise with full-stack knowledge to architect scalable integration solutions, build proof of concepts (PoCs), and support delivery teams in executing complex integration initiatives., * Design scalable and secure integration architectures based on business and technical requirements in collaboration with build and delivery teams.

  • Define integration patterns, APIs, event-driven solutions, and messaging strategies that align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate technologies, integration approaches, and solution feasibility.
  • Provide technical leadership and engineering support to build teams that require additional capacity or specialized expertise.
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs and integration services using Java-based technologies.
  • Support integration across web applications, SDKs, webhooks, batch processes, and third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
  • Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guidelines.
  • Promote engineering best practices, reusable components, and continuous improvement across integration projects.
  • Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while accelerating delivery through hands-on engineering support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and API development.
  • Experience designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs using spring boot
  • Front end knowledge to handle SDK, Webhooks, Batches
  • Understanding of software design principles, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
  • Experience working with CI/CD like Bitbucket, GitHub etc.
  • Experience with unit/integration testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an initiative-taking approach to challenges.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:106230 to 145000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
