Job description
We are looking for a SaaS Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, or security engineering. The candidate will be responsible for deploying and operating SSPM platforms, monitoring SaaS security posture, identifying configuration and identity risks, and developing integrations and automation across SaaS, cloud, IAM, SIEM, and governance platforms. Strong experience with SSPM tools, APIs, Python, cloud platforms, and security automation is required. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and operate SSPM platforms to continuously monitor SaaS security posture.
- Assess SaaS applications for configuration drift, identity risks, excessive permissions, data exposure, and third-party application risks.
- Build integrations and automation between SSPM, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, ticketing, and governance systems.
- Develop dashboards, reporting, metrics, security baselines, and remediation workflows.
- Leverage REST APIs, Python/PowerShell, Terraform, GitHub, and automation frameworks.
- Support SaaS onboarding, certification, governance, incident resolution, and continuous security improvements.
- Assess SaaS integrations and security controls across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI.
- Contribute to security standards, risk assessments, compliance activities, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, SaaS Security, or Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with SSPM platforms such as AppOmni, Obsidian, Palo Alto, Adaptive Shield, Wing Security, Valence, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SaaS Security, IAM, Data Protection, API Security, and Security Monitoring.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and/or OCI security concepts.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform, GitHub, and automation.
- Experience building enterprise-scale security integrations and automated workflows.
- Knowledge of data discovery/classification and regulatory frameworks such as PCI and PII.
Preferred Skills
- CASB technologies and SaaS governance programs.
- AI/GenAI-enabled SaaS security risks.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, or OCI Security Professional.
