Job description

Are you an experienced Databricks Data Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud pipelines and modern data infrastructure looking to take ownership of scalable data systems within the utility sector?

This is an opportunity to join a growing technology-focused professional services firm shaping how utilities navigate a rapidly changing landscape. The team works on complex problems involving cloud data infrastructure, data governance, and analytics pipelines that empower sustainable choices.

In this role, you will build and scale reliable data pipelines, infrastructure, and systems. You will work closely with machine learning engineers, software engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-performance data products supporting consulting and SaaS solutions.

This role would suit an engineer who enjoys solving complex data processing problems while building production-ready architectures that drive meaningful impact in the energy industry.

The Role:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines
  • Develop and optimize Databricks, Spark, and SQL workflows
  • Build data lakes for advanced analytics and BI
  • Monitor pipeline performance, data quality, and integrity
  • Manage software development lifecycles and DevOps activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Extensive experience building cloud-based data engineering solutions
  • Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Spark
  • Strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure and tools
  • Solid understanding of data governance and security practices
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
