Job description

System One is seeking experienced Traveling Electricians to support a major FAA contract (Technical Support Services Contract 5 - T5). This program supports critical upgrades to the U.S. National Airspace System, including navigation, communication, and weather monitoring systems.

This is a fully travel-based role, supporting projects at airports and remote federal facilities across the United States., System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America. Requirements

  • Must be an experienced Electrician (5+ years) No license required.

  • Experience with:

  • Underground and above-ground electrical installations

  • Industrial, infrastructure, or construction environments

  • Civil work elements (trenching, conduit, concrete, etc.)

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Ability to operate or work around heavy equipment

  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide

Additional Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship (required)

  • Ability to pass:

  • Federal background check

  • Drug screening

  • Motor vehicle record check, + OSHA 30 certification

  • Experience with FAA, aviation, or airfield systems

  • Strong customer interaction and communication skills

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office for reporting)

Benefits & conditions

  • Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr (based on experience & wage determination by home county)

  • Health & Welfare (H&W): Additional rate paid for first 40 hours/week
