Entry-Level Data Center Technician

• Pull and route copper and fiber optic cable
• Install cable trays, J-hooks, and support systems
• Perform cable dressing, labeling, and basic terminations
• Build and organize telecom closets, racks, and patch panels
• Follow blueprints and project drawings
• Use hand tools safely and effectively

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM - 7PM day shift Work Environment: Active data center construction sites supporting large-scale technology infrastructure projects. You’ll be working on large-scale data center construction projects supporting the buildout of cutting-edge technology infrastructure. This is a hands-on role in an active construction environment where teamwork, safety, and a strong work ethic are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fairfax, IA. • Experience in construction, telecom, or another hands-on trade
• Familiarity with hand tools
• Experience pulling cable, installing cable trays, fiber, Cat5, or Cat6 preferred
• Reliable, coachable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs, Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
