Job description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data integration and data management solutions. This role will serve as a key contributor in building scalable data pipelines, enhancing data quality, and enabling accurate reporting and analytics across the organization., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure based technologies
- Build, monitor, and optimize data pipelines that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives
- Develop and maintain SQL Server database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and data models
- Collaborate with business users and leadership to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Design and implement data warehouse structures, schema models, indexing strategies, and performance optimization techniques
- Coordinate with cross functional and distributed teams to ensure successful delivery of data engineering initiatives
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues, anomalies, and process inefficiencies
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability
- Contribute to AI enabled data extraction initiatives and automation efforts where applicable
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and best practice standards within highly regulated environments, * Play a key role in shaping the organization’s data strategy and data platform evolution
- Work directly with executive leadership and business stakeholders on high impact initiatives

Requirements
The Senior Data Engineer will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to understand data requirements, develop efficient solutions, and ensure reliable delivery of high quality data. This position requires deep expertise in SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, cloud based data engineering, and ETL development, along with strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions., * 7+ years of experience in database development, ETL development, data engineering, or related roles
- 4+ years of hands on experience designing and developing solutions with Azure Data Factory
- 2+ years of Python development experience for data processing, automation, or integration initiatives
- Advanced expertise with T SQL, SQL Server database development, stored procedures, views, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Strong experience designing data warehouses, data models, schema structures, indexing strategies, and normalization techniques
- Working knowledge of Azure ecosystem tools and cloud based data platforms
- Experience supporting healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions from concept through production deployment
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives and business leaders, * Experience working with healthcare data integration and healthcare transaction files, including EDI formats such as 835 and 837
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, claims processing, EMR, or related healthcare datasets
- Experience building AI or large language model driven document extraction solutions
- Experience supporting Power BI reporting environments and data models
- Background working within Azure based SQL Server environments and enterprise scale data platforms
- Experience collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams, * ETL Development : 7 years (Required)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF): 4 years (Required)
- Python: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Addison, TX 75001
