Job description

GovCIO is currently hiring for a SailPoint Developer with United States Postal Service (USPS) ARIS experience to perform in-depth development and troubleshooting of SailPoint Application. This position will be a fully remote within the United States. The successful candidate will need to posses or willing to submit to a background investigation for a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth troubleshooting of application, workflow, and data-related issues by analyzing logs, database records, and configurations; implemented permanent fixes to improve system reliability and performance.

Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to prioritize deliverables and ensure timely execution of sprint goals.

Design, develop, and customize business rules using rule frameworks and scripting to meet complex business logic, governance, and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintained custom and operational reports by querying relational databases (SQL) to support audit, compliance, and business reporting needs.

Create Task Definitions and scheduled automated jobs for periodic data aggregation, identity refreshes, and system maintenance activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders) to integrate new enhancements into existing environments and ensure smooth deployments.

Design, develop, and customize workflows to automate business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround time for operational tasks.

Work closely with vendors and their support teams to review architecture, apply best practices, perform performance tuning, and resolve production issues efficiently.

Develop and optimize ad-hoc SQL queries to support data analysis, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and validation activities.

Partner with QA teams during system, integration, and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT) by validating requirements, resolving defects, and supporting release readiness.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess their access requirements and develop appropriate access roles tailored to those needs.

Work with stakeholders to assign ownership and take corrective action for ongoing remediation.

Experience with supporting IAM (SAILPOINT/ SAVIYNT).

Requirements

Skilled and accomplished SailPoint IDM Engineer with extensive experience in identity governance, access management, and information security.

Proficient in onboarding and configuring out-of-the-box (OOTB) Web services connectors using various authentication methods-including OAuth, Basic, and Token authentication-for RESTful APIs.

Member of the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Remediation and Engineering team, responsible for strengthening user access and authorization security for web-based applications.

Solid knowledge of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), along with hands-on experience applying both methods.

Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing SailPoint IdentityNow solutions to enhance organizational security, compliance, and efficiency.

Experience with Identity Now in Managing access to information for cloud-based services.

Designed SailPoint deployment activities - connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configuration, and development and third-party system integration.

Skilled in integrating Bash scripts with other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for extended functionality.

Experience with Identity Now in Managing access to information for cloud-based services., * Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of full stack development experience (or commensurate experience)

  • Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum of 7 years of SailPoint Development experience supporting ARIS.
