Principal Data Center MEP Engineer

This role involves supporting engineering design and analysis projects for Data Centers as leader of our division. Responsibilities include, Engineering Leadership: Drive impactful solutions in the power industry through expert design, analysis, and cutting-edge data center systems

• Project Direction and Strategy: Lead projects with vision, fostering collaboration, and delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions
• Design Precision & Real-World Impact: Develop detailed designs, calculations, and documentation, transforming concepts into executable plans
• Field Excellence & Hands-On Insight: Conduct site inspections and provide practical support to ensure seamless construction and design implementation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Typically requires 6 years of experience in a design engineering role in hyperscale data center design
• Typically requires 15 years of total design experience
• PE - Professional Engineer preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
• Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software
• ETABS software experience strongly preferred
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
• Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
