Job description
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic spine and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative spine patient management as appropriate
- Coordinate conservative treatment plans, including medications, physical therapy, and referrals
- Participate in fluoroscopy-guided and ultrasound-guided procedural clinics
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery expectations
- Document encounters utilizing the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Previous orthopedic, spine, pain management, PM&R, or interventional pain experience preferred
- Comfortable managing spine and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a patient-first approach
