Job description
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications utilizing programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and C++, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems.
- Develop intuitive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, enhancing user experience across devices.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, execute, and deliver software solutions efficiently using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design system architecture with scalability, security (RBAC), and maintainability in mind, applying best practices such as design patterns and system design principles.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure deployments on platforms like AWS or Azure to ensure reliable application performance and availability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software engineering across the team., Build and ship core product features across our marketplace and operations platform Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Operations teams to deliver high-impact solutions Participate in technical design reviews, architecture decisions, and interviewing Help shape our technical roadmap and platform foundation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong command of JavaScript frameworks (React, Express) and backend programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux environments, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and network protocols like REST.
- Expertise in designing scalable systems using microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MySQL, MS SQL), and version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies to facilitate iterative project delivery.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, system security (RBAC), CI/CD pipelines, and API integration techniques.
- Experience with system design for large-scale applications emphasizing scalability, performance optimization, and security considerations.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams., * Fit Experience with Go and/or TypeScript, Python, and related frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.)
- 3-8+ years of building full stack applications
- Experience owning projects or leading teams in fast-paced environments Startup mentality - thrives in ambiguity and rapid iteration with high ownership.
- Passion for building real-world products with visible impact Benefits., * Shipped ML products that people actually use, with evidence of owning the path from raw data and experimentation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Strong public work: a standout GitHub, useful open-source contributions, published research, technical writing, or unusually good independent experiments.
- Experience building prediction, ranking, classification, recommendation, or anomaly-detection systems on messy real-world data.
- Experience building LLM evaluation systems, structured extraction pipelines, research agents, or other production AI workflows.
- Founder, early ML hire, or senior individual contributor at a fast-moving startup, especially where you operated without a dedicated ML platform or large engineering team.
- Clear signals of exceptional technical or quantitative ability: strong research, competition results, Math/Physics Olympiad performance, or a top technical academic background.
