Job description

  • Help design/scale/deliver/lead an automated application evaluation framework including: intelligent application crawlers using computer vision and LLMs, AI vision models to detect spatial layout issues, rendering distortions, overlapping UI elements, and input collision issues specific to the XR environment, and Automated regression detectors that verify if new OS-level compatibility overrides resolve app issues without introducing regressions.
  • Participate in the architectural design and implementation of a unified automated application runner for Android XR AppCompat.
  • Build scalable application execution frameworks that run on physical devices, emulators, and cloud-hosted environments.
  • Partner with Android and Android XR platform team to develop new capabilities to improve the application experiences in XR.

Requirements

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of software development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: GO, Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin., * Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of algorithms and their level of complexity.
  • Excellent software and systems troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
